Particles for Nuke
I started collecting particle scripts for Nuke because I didn't want to start from scratch every time. So, little by little, with all the tutorials on YouTube/Vimeo and the scripts and gizmos on Nukepedia and on the Foundry website, I ended up with this collection.
I've tried to credit all the references and links where I found the scripts. If you don't want your work in this collection anymore, please message me. On the other hand, if you have something to suggest, please send me the script and I will add it to the next update!
You can download the folder for free from the link below:
Download Complete Collection
Download the Lite Version from Nukepedia
HOW TO INSTALL IT?
Installing the package is really easy, because all the paths and folders are already set up.
1. Extract the folder from the .zip file
2. Drag and drop the folder into your .nuke folder
#path would be something like this:
#Linux: /home/login name/.nuke
#Mac OS X: /Users/login name/.nuke
#Windows: C:\Users\user name\.nuke

3. Add this code to your init.py file (don't delete the 'r')
nuke.pluginAddPath(r"/Users/yourPath/.nuke/ParticlesCollection")
4. Run Nuke

Overview
This Collection works perfectly with Nuke 12 and 13. Be careful and always double-check, in the ParticleEmitter node, the knobs "start at" and "emission rate".

- 01. Animals
In this first category you can see different animals: birds, insects, bugs. This gives you a starting point for your amazing background animals

Create a flock of birds to use in the background of your image

Create bugs or insects. They can fly or just walk on the ground

- 02. Expression and Blinkscript
Some of the expressions and BlinkScripts you can use with particles:

Some of the tools done with Blinkscript.

- 03. Modelling
In this third section, Modelling, I'm going to show you how you can even create models using Particle system in Nuke.

An amazing Lego surface! It's really easy to do.

With simple images, it's really easy to populate the ground with static objects. In this way you can create forests, cities with buildings or other complex environments.

- 04. Pyro and Sparks
Some useful tools for Pyro and Sparks.

There are 3 different tools to create sparks and embers.

- 05. Utilities
These are the utilities. They are the simplest tools of the Particle system that you can find already inside Nuke and others that I took from The Foundry website.

- 06. Various Setup
Various setups from tutorials around the web: YouTube, Foundry's website... I recreated them in Nuke and shared them in this collection.

- 07. Weather
Various setups with different weather.
